After our successful first event we are pleased to announce that our seed swap will be returning for 2024!
The seed swap will be held again at Dodington Parish Hall, Saturday 10th Feb 2024 at 10am -12pm, everyone welcome!
How does it work?
- Entry is free! Everyone welcome, from experience gardeners to first time growers
- Seeds will be organised into areas, bring along your spare seeds to share, look through what’s available and take what you need
- If you are unable to bring seeds, don’t panic you are still more than welcome to come along!
There will also be…
- Free hot drinks and biscuits for all visitors
- Cake sale in aid of Hedgehog Rescue
- Raffle in aid of Raysfield Primary school, run by Friends of Raysfield School PTA
- Free kids crafts table
Now is the perfect time to collect seeds from your garden or allotment. If bringing seeds you have collected yourself please make sure to label them with plant name, year harvested and best time to sow. Here is a help website article on harvesting your own seeds from the RHS
