We all have that random packet of seed we never get round to using, or 1000’s of seeds in a packet and you only need a few! Why not bring them along to our first ever Seed Swap event at Dodington Parish Hall, Saturday 11th Feb 2023.
How does it work?….
- Entry is free! Everyone is welcome, from experienced gardeners to first time growers
- Seeds will be organised into areas, bring along your spare seeds to share, look through what’s available and take what you need
- If you are unable to bring seeds there will be honesty boxes dotted around
- Hot drinks and home made cakes will be available
As this will be our first year running the event we would be extremely grateful for any donations that can be given in advance so we can sort them ahead of opening.
Welcomed donations are seeds, spare plants, books and magazines, tools or small garden items. If you would like to donate or to help on the day please email: birdsallotments@gmail.com
